Ingeneral, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal dutiesand responsibilities associated with being a GP in a primary care setting.
Thepost-holder will undertake clinical sessions (routine and on-call), which maycomprise face to face, video or telephone consultations and include management of clinical e-consultations plus home visits. Anytest-results, written communications, reports and queries generated from theseconsultations would fall under their remit.
Screeningpatients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, providecounselling and health education, acting upon alerts and reminders during theirconsultations and where appropriate be involved in the development of careplans.
