Position Overview
JOB PURPOSE
The Human Service Counselor assesses, supports and assists clients / patients within the community or hospital-based setting through the implementation of therapeutic and rehabilitative programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduation plus an additional human services program/course of over six months and up to one year or equivalent.For community based positions in Additions and Mental Health must have 1 year of related experience.Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
