**Description:**
Provide services that support a safe and secure environment. Perform activities aimed at identifying, deterring, abating, or correcting situations—both routine and emergent—within the scope of responsibility. **Essential Functions**

+ Provide continuous professional and therapeutic presence within the unit.
+ Monitor and visit clients in their rooms to identify issues and resolve concerns.
+ Conduct one-on-one therapeutic interactions with patients to deter escalations.
+ Intervene appropriately when clients exhibit escalating behaviors.
+ Take precautionary measures as necessary to maintain safety.
