Position Overview
- Conduct daily safety inspections of electrical construction activities, tools, and equipment to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and all applicable electrical safety codes.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses related to electrical systems and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide safety recommendations before the start of any new electrical work.
- Monitor proper installation and maintenance of temporary and permanent electrical systems on-site.
- Provide safety orientation and regular toolbox meetings to electricians and construction workers.
- Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and site supervisors to plan safe work execution.
