JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Pollution Control & Safety Officer 3 is responsible for ensuring a safe and environmentally

compliant workplace. This role combines occupational safety management with pollution control,

monitoring company operations to reduce hazards, prevent accidents, and minimize

environmental impact.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and enforce adherence to occupational health and safety policies, procedures,

and regulations.

2. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all departments.

3. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend

preventive measures.

4. Develop and conduct safety training programs, including employee orientation and

ongoing refresher sessions.

5. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).
