Position Overview
Position Summary:
Safety Manager position is responsible for managing relationships with assigned customers, implementation and execution of company and customer safety programs and initiatives and is responsible for field safety supervision and customer safety coordination. This position provides leadership and direction for all operational and technical safety components that ensure processes and strategies promote a positive safety culture and include support for and assurances that field management maintain the safety responsibility.
Essential Functions:
+ Serve as a focal point for all customer safety issues
+ Proactively manage customer safety and audit activities in order to comply with all applicable regulations and Power Contracting Standards, prevent injuries to employees, prevent negative impact to the environment and satisfy customer EHS requirements.
