**JOB SUMMARY**


This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating safety, compliance, and commercial driver training programs for new and existing employees across Georgia Power. The role places a strong emphasis on **CDL driver competency, regulatory compliance, and measurable safety performance improvement** . Training is primarily conducted in the Metro Atlanta area, with statewide travel required to support training delivery, safety initiatives, meetings, audits, and storm restoration activities, including occasional overnight stays. **This position requires extensive field-based instruction, including spending significant time inside commercial motor vehicles (CMVs).
