Develop, review and update procedures, guidelines, etc. related to safety. This includes formulating safety procedures and reviewing all work procedures to ensure adequate coverage to ensure safety is maintained.
Coordinate safety inspections and audit of operating facilities and monitors the implementation of recommendations made and update the status.
Participate in technical safety audits e.g. HAZOP study.
Review project / facilities modification and provide safety input as necessary.
Respond to safety queries by providing accurate information and sound advice.
Develop safety programmed for operations and ensure smooth implementation.
Establish and maintain safety library reference materials, standards, codes, etc. within safety section.
Collect accidents data, compiles and analyse safety statistics and prepares management safety reports.
