**Position Overview** This role is responsible to lead, develop and implement environmental, health, safety (EHS) programs, policies, and training to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. In collaboration with Transportation management, directs safety and compliance systems for a fleet comprised of more than 500 commercial trucks, 850 drivers and 17 terminals. Ensures continuous improvement of a People First safety culture that leads to industry leadership, reduction of accidental losses and impact on operational goals of the company.

* Coach, train and develop associates/management on safety policies, procedures, and initiatives to build cross functional ownership and shared leadership for program implementation.
