Responsibilities Leads the implementation of DLA Safety and Health programs and Management Systems like OSHA VPP and ISO 45001 to maintain full alignment with federal and DoD safety mandates. Conducts multi-environment safety and ergonomic audits to detect and remediate hazards in warehouses, labs, and industrial facilities. Leads investigations into workplace incidents, near-misses, injuries, and property damage to identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and validate safety controls. Tracks incident statistics and performs trend analyses to identify systemic safety issues, providing management with data-driven recommendations for corrective action.
