This is an exciting opportunity to develop professionally within a safeguarding and public protection role by joining the corporate safeguarding team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The specialist post supports the statutory safeguarding functions of the health board and demonstrates professional leadership to help meet Health and Care Standards regarding safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the UHB Safeguarding Team to provide specialist advice and support in relation to child protection, adults at risk and domestic abuse to all staff within CTMUHB.
• Support and facilitate the revision, development and oversight of safeguarding children, adults at risk, DoLS and domestic abuse processes for the UHB.
• Represent CTMUHB in multi‑agency forums such as strategy meetings, conferences and core groups to ensure appropriate and proportionate information is shared to safeguard children and adults.
