Advert Text Safeguarding Adviser, 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. All Campuses – We have an exciting opportunity to work within the Safeguarding Team as the Safeguarding Adviser. With an advisory and facilitation focus, the Safeguarding Adviser will contribute to the delivery of, one to one, group works and events in Safeguarding to support a wide range of activities/services to keep students safe in and around college. The Adviser will look to engage students in education, enhancing opportunities for personal and skills development to encourage retention. This role will require strong internal partnership working with academic staff on wellbeing, safeguarding and behaviour.
The successful candidate will provide expert advice and guidance to students in relation to safeguarding, child protection issues and mental health as well as working with external professionals to provide ongoing support.
