Job Duties/Essential Functions
• Support the Return To Work Program
• Promote the empowerment of the health and safety committee
• Help train employees in how to conduct effective incident investigations to find root cause and future prevention
analysis
• Provide training for health and safety committee members as to their responsibilities.
• Ensure that safety training is scheduled, completed and documented in accordance with the fiscal year safety planner
• Support the Health and Safety Committee Chairperson in their duties
• Conduct training of managers and supervisors regarding safety policy and procedures
• Promote the use and care of appropriate safety equipment
• Understand the Risk Management Manual contents
