Overview

Rotational Physiotherapist – Taupo, Permanent, Part-time (24 hours per week). Located primarily at the Taupo Hospital with rotations also in Rotorua. This role is part of Health New Zealand Lakes and supports a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

The role contributes across inpatient and outpatient settings, covering a generalist skill base to ensure adequate cover for leave in the ward and outpatients. There is no weekend and on-call roster commitment. You will have the opportunity to expand your scope or deepen your specialty focus and will receive supportive clinical backup and collaboration across Health New Zealand Lakes.

• Acute wards: medical, surgical, maternity, orthopaedics, ED, paediatrics
• Rehabilitation: Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation (AT&R)
• Outpatient services in Taupo & Turangi
• Group programme facilitation and tailoring clinical pathways
