Position Overview
**_POSITION SUMMARY:_**
The Housekeeping room attendant is responsible for cleaning all assigned areas in accordance with Big Cedar Lodge procedures and standards.
**_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_**
+ Provides professional, friendly service to all guests.
+ Cleans corridors, lobbies, stairways, and lounges as well as guest rooms.
+ Organizes work schedule from the room status list, arrivals, and departures.
+ Distributes linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand and organize and restock cart at the end of the shift.
+ Restocks room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies and replaces laundry bags and slips.
+ Replaces dirty linens with clean items and stores all dirty laundry in line with company policy.
+ Inspects and turns mattresses regularly, checks all appliances in rooms are in working order and realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
