**Job Summary:**

The RN, School Nurse provides direct care to students in a school setting. The care includes treating injuries, acute illness, chronic disease management and long-term management for students with special health care needs.

You will act as a liaison between school personnel, family, health care professionals and the community through communication with parents/guardians of students, physicians, advanced practice providers and appropriate school personnel.

In this role, you will screen for health conditions and health problems as required. You will also be responsible for health care education of students, parents, teachers, and other school personnel.
