**Position Purpose:**

The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Mount Carmel East has 16 beds. The Registered Nurse (RN) would expect to see cases involving sepsis, covid, pneumonia, diabetes, cardiac arrest, phycological disorders, drug overdoses, surgical, stroke, and more. This unit is family oriented and enjoys getting together for gatherings outside of work.

The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
