The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the Operative suite, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with physicians, and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models. Plans and delivers safe, effective nursing care until the patient is transferred from his/her care to the recovery R.N. Performs duties of the circulating or scrub role in caring for all age patients.
