Registered Nurse

This position involves cross posting for night shifts. Options for 36 or 48 hours are available. Previous travel experience is preferred. Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs. Some weekends are required. The unit cares for stable remote telemetry monitored patients who are not on cardiac drips. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 24 patients, with 29 beds available. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Skills required include managing various medical equipment and administering care for a wide range of conditions. Successful candidates will be comfortable with tasks such as blood product administration, IV maintenance, and wound care. Additional skills include managing feeding tubes and performing arterial blood gas interpretation.
