About the unit

5 South medical unit consist of 33 head walls all our rooms are shared with one negative pressure equipped room and two single room to accommodate patient that need private room.

Our average census is between 29-32 patients, we monitor patients that needs frequent safety checks through Video monitoring system. We have capability of accepting patients needing telemetry. We believe in Patient and family centered care, we coordinate patient care with multi-disciplinary team members. We are certified and skilled to perform peritoneal dialysis.
