Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Emergency Department Registered Nurse position available for night shift. The shift duration is 12 hours, from 19:30 to 08:00. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing. Travel experience is required. First-time travelers with 5 or more years of nursing experience will be considered. Epic charting system experience is required. The nurse will care for patients with various diagnoses, including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, trauma, and respiratory illnesses. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4, with the potential to increase to 1:5 for lower acuity patients. The average daily patient census is approximately 140 in a 46-bed unit. Candidates should be comfortable working with all age groups. Weekend work is required every other weekend, and holidays may also be scheduled as needed.
