Start/end time varies depending on assigned work area. Start time is between 6:45-7:45 depending on assignment. End time depends on patient procedure schedule. Last case is scheduled to start at 345.
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures including prep, intra procedure and recovery for routine GI procedures of colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. The RN will provide direct patient care, rotating through each area. Works collaboratively with other staff, CRNA, and physicians to provide care to outpatient populations. This position functions demonstrating teamwork and intuitive insight and judgement in decision making.
