Position Overview
The Nursing Director, Women and Children’s Service (WCS) is responsible for the direction, leadership, and support of operational, financial, programmatic, continuous improvement and personnel activities for inpatient Women and Children’s care provided at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. The director position is an essential leadership role within the WCS division. The director is responsible for all National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) quality metrics, adherence to regulatory requirements for 5 specific areas of care: pediatrics, labor and delivery, mother/baby, special care nursery, OBED, and the milk bank, use of Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) standards.
