Description:

The Pre Liver Transplant Coordinator assists in the pre-transplant phase of the patients evaluation. Reviews diagnostic tests, laboratory work, and other pertinent information in clinic and before medical review board. Coordinates care of the patient, triages calls, and assists in medical and medication management.

Candidate preferred to have at least one year transplant coordinator experience

A transplant coordinator assists in the pre-transplant evaluation as well as the

post-op follow up of transplanted patients as well as their donors. He/she can provide education to the living donor and recipient regarding the transplant process. They are also on-call for organ procurement/donor offers as well as for patient concerns.
