**Description**

6 Memorial is a 28-bed, acute care, inpatient nursing unit at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. Our interdisciplinary team provides evidence-based and high-quality care primarily to adult post-surgical patients with weight loss issue, gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, and complex non-cancer GI-related illnesses.

You’ll work alongside a highly collaborative team of nurses, GI specialists, and surgical oncology leaders affiliated with the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center—a nationally recognized leader in cancer care. Our unit is also proud to be part of a Bariatric Center of Excellence.

This is a great fit for nurses who want hands-on experience with complex, high-acuity patients while practicing at the top of their license in a supportive, team-based environment.
