**Description**

RN Needed for Central Venous Access Device Team

This position will utilize the nursing process to collaborate and provide safe therapeutic nursing care to adult and pediatric patients throughout the Medical Center for infection free central line placement to promote optimal patient outcomes. The primary role of this team is to assist physicians with central line placement within the facility. Additional responsibilities will include central line audits, providing education pertaining to central line insertions, maintenance and care of central lines and trouble shooting. The ability to apply keen nursing skills while incorporating communication in an effective, positive and professional manner is essential to promote patient-centered care. Staff will provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standard. Reporting and accountability will be to the Nurse Manger/Director.
