The **Acute Care Orthopaedics** unit at **UNC Rex Hospital** is a 30-bed medical-surgical unit that provides exceptional post-surgical care to patients recovering from various orthopedic procedures such as

• joint replacement (knee, hip, ankle, shoulder)

• total joint revision

• various spinal procedures

• various fracture repair procedures

• wound management
