Overview

The RN will enhance the effective management and quality of nursing practice daily, ensuring compliance with governing bodies, internal policies, and standards of care. A reliable vehicle is required for community home care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident/patient care is provided following established nursing standards, physicians' orders, and administrative policies.
• Assist in assessing and monitoring residents/patients, developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating individual care plans.
• Manage and evaluate the work of nursing and personal care staff assigned to the unit, including orientations and supervisory duties.
• Monitor performance, conduct appraisals, and refer issues to the Director of Care.
• Provide direction to the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Care.
