About the Unit

This unit is a 20-bed pediatric/adult overflow med/surg unit. We see patients from 2 days old to 100+ years old. Nurse to patient ratio 1:5 for regular med/surg patients on day shift and 1:6 on night shift. High acuity pediatric pts may be 1:3. No PICU level patients.
