The Acute Care Clinical Practice Expert is a registered nurse with advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in acute care, specifically telemetry and medical-surgical. This expert ensures high patient/family satisfaction and cost-effective care through evidence-based practice. They assess patient/family needs within Acute Care Services, plan/execute/evaluate nursing care, and implement coordinated programs for telemetry and medical-surgical patients.

As an expert practitioner, this role optimizes nursing quality through direct patient care, staff development, consultation, and research, while also facilitating policy writing and competency assessments.
