Transition from ocean to river navigation and develop the skills needed to become a Second Officer on the Rhine, Danube, or in France.
The Recertification Program: Ocean to River
Obtain a Captain license, including VHF certification. Prepare for stretch exams from Amsterdam to Cologne. Train on Viking Longships through onboard and simulator sessions. Gain hands-on experience for 7-9 months. Upon completion, you'll be offered a contract as a Second Officer. Viking covers all training and exam costs, adhering to EU regulations.
