A well established open cast Mining Company based in North West Province has a great opportunity for a Risk Officer. The role is responsible for designing and implementing an overall workplace risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of prevailing hazards and management thereof. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12 or equivalent

•Diploma in Risk Management

•Assessor/Moderator Certificate is advantageous

•Certificate in Occupational health and safety Risk Assessment and Management (e.g., SAMTRAC, etc.)

•Certificate in Mine health and Safety legislation

•Auditors certificate

• 2 - 5 years’ in the risk management reports compilation, reporting and monitoring

• 5 - 8 years’ in the engineering, plants and mining.
