Develop, specify, and apply riser system design criteria for a wide variety of activities, developments, and operations, , large-scale deepwater capital projects, R&D programs, and offshore installation activities opportunities.
Get involved in various riser, flexibles or umbilicals engineering activities for deepwater projects from concept evaluation and selection to installation to commissioning and start up
Execute and/or oversee riser analysis studies (conducted by ExxonMobil internal resources and / or third-party companies) to support riser system design (, strength, fatigue, interference)
Evaluate strengths and shortcomings of different riser design philosophies.
Lead revisions to company standards and/or industry practices.
Interface with engineers from other disciplines (, marine, pipelines, flow assurance, materials) to align on work scopes and work products.
