Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the banana ripening process using ripening rooms.
- Adjust temperature, humidity, and ethylene gas levels to ensure optimal ripening.
- Inspect banana quality, ripeness levels, and any signs of damage or spoilage.
- Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of ripening schedules and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance of ripening equipment and facilities.
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in banana ripening, fruit handling, or food production is preferred.
