Rig Electrician required on contract bases for 12 months

Qualification and Experience
Minimum 7 Years overall Field Experience at oil and gas drilling rig.
Minimum 5 years as rig electrician.
Responsibilities And Duties
The rig electrician installs and connects electrical equipment such as SCR/ VFD
House, MCC, generators, motors, transformers, switchgear, lighting systems,
drilling instrumentation, CCTV monitoring system and communication systems on the drilling rig.
Assists in disconnection, packaging and preparation of equipment for rig moves,
including re-connection at new locations.
Performs routine maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly.
Assists the maintenance crew in conducting visual and where possible functional inspections of equipment both prior to use and at periodic intervals during rig operation and after rig moves and rig-up.
