**Job Description :**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

Renders professional respiratory care services in the treatment and care of patients within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Provides clinical respiratory care in NICU, Delivery Room and transport setting. (40%)
+ Performs ongoing respiratory assessments and reassessments and plan of care development. (30%)
+ Demonstrates effective leadership skills. (15%)
+ Participate in department projects, teamwork and continuing education. (15%)

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Minimum

+ Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
+ Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
+ Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) National Board of Respiratory Care required prior to the expiration of the Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
