We are seeking an engaging, innovative teacher who has strong communication skills and is a collaborative team player as these skills will be needed in all you do.
You will be required to work in mainstream schools and other specialist schools to work closely with DHH students, whānau and school staff/teams. This is a permanent, fulltime role. The caseload for this role covers Bethells Beach - Onehunga and Titirangi - Taupaki.
Engage within your assigned caseload with related record keeping and liaison with families and whanau to assist with student participation and success in their education and life outcomes.
Requirements
Proven best practice and experience working with Deaf children and/or working with mainstream children.
Qualified Teacher of the Deaf or an experienced NZ registered teacher.
