Position Summary:

The Residential Assistant (RA) is responsible for the overall supervision and well-being of clients/residents living in Sanctuary shelters. The RA maintains structure and stability within the program while simultaneously providing a safe and nurturing environment for clients/residents. The RA works closely with the Residential Supervisor in facilitating life skills instruction and working towards clients/residents’ independence and self-sufficiency. The RA is also responsible for ensuring that the shelter is always 100% operational, which includes, but is not limited to the upkeep of cleanliness, maintenance of supplies and equipment, monitoring and reporting of any repairs and/or supplies needed to the Residential Supervisor.
