• Provide day-to-day clinical care for admitted patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including ward rounds and on-call duties.
• Respond to routine and urgent referrals, escalating complex cases to the Consultant on call.
• Supervise, teach, and guide House Officers, Medical Officers, and trainees.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, case discussions, and departmental teaching activities.
• Perform or assist with clinical procedures within the scope of training and competency.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation, including referrals, reports, and mortality reviews when required.
• Represent the ward or institution in medico-legal or coroner-related matters when assigned.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, research, and educational initiatives.
