Position Overview
What will you do?
As a Resident Engineer (Mechanical) at Aurecon, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations. You will play a key role in delivering complex infrastructure and building projects, including mission‑critical facilities like data centres.
Site Inspections and Meetings
- Conduct inspections at site with Authorities, Operator, Contractor, Client, and other consultants.
- Attend site and authority meetings.
- Witness during testing and commissioning stage.
- Witness all tests on site, sign off and obtain the test results.
- Inspect and sign off all non‑compliance reports issued for defective works.
Coordination and Supervision
- Coordinate and assist the Design Office Team Leader/Project Engineer in the performance of site technical duties.
