General Statement of Job
The Behavior Modification Interventionist position is designed to aid in the improvement of the students' overall success in the educational setting. The primary focus will be social/emotional learning and positive behavioral development. A secondary focus will be on academic intervention. The Behavior Modification Interventionist will monitor students in a classroom setting, provide behavioral coaching and academic instruction to students, and assist staff with clerical tasks related to record keeping and data entry.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions: Independently monitors students within a variety of school environments (e.g. classrooms, rest rooms, hallways, cafeteria, labs, field trips, etc.);
Establishes positive relationships with students needing additional behavioral supports through daily check-in and check-out systems;
