Position Overview
- Initiate/manage research projects related to horticultural performance of fruit trees.
- Write publications/present research outcomes to stakeholders and the scientific community.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to Junior Researchers, Research Technicians and Students.
- Evaluate the performance of ARC and commercial cultivars in field trials and develop strategies for improved production.
- Liaise with growers, industry technical officers and national and provincial government.
