Flexible Work, Better Balance
The interdisciplinary research project, called LogiCCS, consists of 15 partners across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Latvia, aiming at developing knowledge to enhance efficient Carbon capture, transportation and storage (CCS) supply chains and operations in the region. The focus is on development of sustainable and energy-efficient cross-border maritime infrastructure and logistics solutions for transporting carbon dioxide (CO2) captured from energy intensive and heavy industry sectors in the Nordic and Baltic Sea Region for long term storage.
BI will lead the logistics research stream in the project and the Norwegian contribution, cooperating with industrial partners and researchers from other project disciplines, such as marine technology and ship design, geology, environmental science and law to develop a more integrated approach to different aspects of CCS value chains.
