The School of Agriculture and Environment, Massey University, is seeking applicants to apply for the position of Research Technician. The purpose of this position is to provide field‑based technical assistance to on‑farm research projects within the Whenua Haumanu Programme. This is a fixed‑term, full‑time position, until December 2028, based on the Manawatu campus in Palmerston North.

Led by Massey University, the Whenua Haumanu Programme is the cornerstone of MPI's portfolio of regenerative agriculture projects. It is the most comprehensive research programme in New Zealand on the effects of different pasture mixes and management practices on our pastoral sector.
