In this role, the successful candidate under supervision performs experiments and other day-to-day laboratory tasks. Responsibilities include conducting molecular and cellular biology experiments for a translational research project with clinical relevance in understanding the role of the immune system in prostate cancer and neuro-cognition. The successful applicant will carry out experiments to explore the effects of the hormonal environment on neuronal function. General basic research experience with DNA, RNA, protein analysis, tissue culture, immunohistochemistry and histology are required. Knowledge of nervous system structure and function valuable.
