Job Summary:
The Neal Lab investigates the roles of conserved transcription regulators in the development of sensory systems. We aim to identify proteins, signals and genome features that serve as determinants of transcription regulator function and specificity. The lab employs in vitro assays, cell culture systems and the fruit fly Drosophila as model systems.
We are seeking a self-motivated Research Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to active research projects. Duties will include but are not limited to: preparing reagents, performing experiments, record keeping, analyzing data, and reporting progress to the Principal Investigator. The successful candidate will receive training and will be expected to independently perform experiments using molecular, biochemical, and genetic methods, and employ aseptic techniques for microbial and eukaryotic cell culture.
