Job description

·Set up, configure, optimize the OASIS3-MCT model coupling library at NSCC.

·Integrate regional atmosphere and ocean models via the OASIS3-MCT.

·Carry out sensitivity experiments using the coupled modelling system i.e., one-way and two-way coupled experiments.

·Assess the performance of the one-way and two-way coupling.

·Attend regular meetings with collaborators and present results.

·Write reports and publish high-quality journal papers.

·Present the results at the top international conference in the field.

·Attend training/workshop as required to maintain proficiency.

·Any other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Field of Study:

·PhD in Physical Oceanography, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Geophysical fluid dynamics, Ocean Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or other related discipline.
