The position is in a well-established laboratory investigating the pathophysiology and biology of lung disease in ferret models. This Research Assistant will assist in projects related to preclinical therapy development of novel therapies for Cystic Fibrosis and other lung diseases, and studies of the underlying biology.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Research:

Execute experimental procedures for the development of animal disease models and preclinical experimental therapies; perform molecular biology experiments to characterize ferret models; set up and operate laboratory equipment. 

Conduct Experiments: Conduct basic procedures in experimental animals and cell culture systems.
