Under the direction of the Superintendent or General Foreman, a Repairman A is responsible for repairing NJ TRANSIT buses for maintenance work.

Main Functions

+ Performs all the duties of a Repairman “B” and “C” with normal guidance and supervision

+ Service all road calls

+ Performs major and minor inspections with normal guidance and supervision including the recording of results and taking corrective action when appropriate to ensure a safe and mechanically sound bus
