The rental mechanic position is responsible for keeping all of our equipment clean and correctly maintained. This position will report to our SHELBYVILLE, IN store location.

Essential Functions:

+ Provides excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.

+ Cleans all rental equipment.

+ Conducts repairs and maintenance on rental equipment; generates purchase orders for repairs or required maintenance.

+ Purchases small tools and any supplies needed to repair the equipment.

+ Inspects equipment on a regular basis to comply with company safety policies.

+ Assists in updating DMV registration and current insurance.

+ Checks out customers at the rental counter, including completing contracts, taking payment and instructing customer on how to use the item.

+ Deliver and pick up rental items as needed.

+ Set up and take down rental equipment if requested.
